Description

Alpine Lakefront is a rustic and woodsy, older home and furnishings but right on the lake with great amenities. perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear walking distance to the park and public beach. Close to National Forest hiking trails. 

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1800+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful brick wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating. New floors recovered pool table, re-stained deck, and repainted house.

ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath. Upstairs master suite has a California king bed, private bath, and TV. Downstairs second bedroom has a king bed and deck. Downstairs third bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Loft has a queen sleeper sofa, twin sleeper sofa, TV, and balcony. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Breakfast bar, stove, oven, double door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - Pool Table and card table! Board games and card games. TVs, streaming apps along with fast Wi-Fi, movie library of over 70 titles and iPod/iPhone dock. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with side-by-side washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Hot tub on wraparound deck, fenced yard, patio furniture, barbecue with lake views, and private balconies. Fish from the shore or enjoy the gentle lake waves. 

PARKING - 3 car driveway

The lake levels vary throughout the year and cannot be guaranteed at the time of your stay.

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 9 people (8 adults max). Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)

I absolutely loved this cabin! The cabin is lakefront but the water level was low. All the amenities made this place really fun, from the pool table, spa, and family board games that my kids had a blast playing. The deck is really nice, we enjoyed eating lunch out on the deck while the kids played in the enclosed backyard. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you will need to cook. Although, the cabin is outdated, I love that about getting away to big bear and getting that cabin feel. I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful experience with Big Bear Cool Cabins. Check in was quick and cabin was ready a little early which was great. We were able to contact through text with any questions and when an issue arose with jacuzzi, we had someone out who was very helpful. It was snowing and he even shoveled the snow on our patio without being asked and helped carry wood into the cabin for us. Check out was easy. Cabin itself was in a great location on the lake. Will definitely rent from Cool Cabins again.

"Great Cabin!"

Excellent location and cabin is awesome. Definitely large enough for our 8... easily could have had a few more with no issue. The cabin is older but great charm. We rent a lot in Big Bear and this one is one of our favorites. Great communication w management. The young man who came to assist with the jacuzzi was fabulous. He even shoveled our patio and helped us bring in wood while waiting to see jacuzzi temperature rise, excellent service. The fireplace is huge and keeps the cabin warm, but the heater works well. The only recommendation would be to have one more couch. For 8 people there is one couch downstairs. There are more upstairs so definitely enough sitting just not in one place. We were lucky to be there for tons of snow and you don't have to leave because the front yard and back yard are so big you can play right there. A return cabin for us for sure. Great cabin!

"The view is amazing"

Big bear is something most people do during high season but it actually has a lot of off-season perks as well! The office you check-in, is good at explaining some fun adventures you can go on or experience. The property manager helped us at the house when we had any issues or questions (which wasn’t often). The view is amazing! If you follow instructions for the heater and have wood-burning, the house is super cozy! The kids found games to play and the pool table kept us all busy. Such a fun quick getaway with family and friends. Wish we stayed longer.

Chose this home last minute mainly because of the view of the lake. This place was even better than expected! It was extremely clean, cozy, and perfect for my family. We got to watch the snow fall the morning we left and it was the most perfect winter experience. Will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for this amazing stay and a great way to end the year.

"They really care!"

Talk about customer service! They really care! I booked a cabin for one night since we found out there was a snow storm that weekend. It was our first time every booking a cabin as well as using this site. Note: Thank goodness we did it on a Friday because that drive coming to Big Bear Saturday looked crazy. Anyway, long story short, we originally booked a different cabin near the lake than the one we stayed in. My family loved Alpine Lakefront; talk about a true rustic cabin feel. I on the other hand would prefer a more modern place to stay in which is why it's a another reason to come back next year and stay at the other cabins. Definitely would recommend this site! All the staff were friendly and willing to help an extra hand.

"Looks Better in Person"

We have rented many cabins through Big Bear Cool Cabins, and this one has been added to our Faves list! The location is Perfect!!! I was a little worried of how old and rustic it was going to be, but it's really not bad at all. We'll definitely be back!!
