Description

Welcome to this super cute cabin, tucked away in the serene woods. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear in a secluded Sugarloaf neighborhood. Close to National Forest hiking trails. This charming cabin comes equipped with everything you need for a memorable mountain getaway!

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 800+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, beautiful wood burning place, and plenty of comfortable living room seating. 

ROOMS & BEDS - 1 bedroom, 1 bath. Bedroom has a queen bed and smart TV. Living room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - This home offers smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi, Blu-ray DVD player, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. 

OUTDOORS - Sip your morning coffee on the sunny front deck, relishing the crisp mountain air. Gas barbecue, outdoor patio table and umbrella. Fully fenced backyard with lots of trees. Just steps to the National Forest where you can take a walk immersing yourself among the tall pine trees.

PARKING - 2 car driveway

Per county requirements, we are permitted a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no refund.

We had a great time in the cabin! It accommodated our needs for the weekend and was in the perfect location - a quiet street with beautiful scenery and only a short drive to shops, Big Bear Village and the lake but far enough away that you felt the calm and quiet. Check in and check out were easy processes!

We were able to check in directly to the cabin. Cabin was clean and perfect for arrival. BBQ was fully stocked w propane. Entire experience was fabulous.

"Definitely Would Not Stay Here Again!"

Wouldn't stay here again! We stayed in a really nice place through Cool Cabins a few years back. Unfortunately it wasn't available this time. So we opted for this place, even though it was more expensive. It was definitely not worth the money. The photos and description of this cabin are deceiving. It's way smaller than it looks in the pics. They make it seem as though there are no neighbors on either side, but the left side neighbor's house is really close to the cabin & can be seen from both the kitchen & bathroom windows. The description also says that they have a fenced backyard. It does have a chain linked fence around it, but the yard not usable at all. It's completely covered in dead trees. The house had a very musty/mildewy smell. When we got in we had to open all of the windows to air it out. Unfortunately the bedroom window doesn't open, so the bedroom stayed smelly which was awful at night. Also, there is carpet throughout, including the bathroom! I've never been in a bathroom with carpeted floors. It seemed unsanitary to me, and may be why the place had a mildew smell. Be warned, if you're bringing children or pets there are pieces of furniture standing on the carpet that aren't stable. A few tall lamps in the living room and dining area, and a coat rack and tall skinny shelf with DVD's on it in the bedroom. I tried to pull a DVD out to look at it and the shelf almost fell on top of me. The place is decorated nicely and had a nice front porch with BBQ, table & chairs. We spent a lot of time out there. Another minor detail, we were excited to see they had a record player & vintage records. But unfortunately the player plays the records too fast! We were disappointed when we couldn't listen to the records. The owners can easily make upgrades to the place to make it much nicer and more comfortable. My first suggestion would be to rip out all of the carpet, or at least the carpet in the bathroom.

We have used cool cabins many times over the years. This was best cabin (Alpine whiskey lodge) for a weekend get away, perfect for a couple.

Loved the cabin! Cozy, clean, well-appointed. The bed and pillows were nice and soft. The rock fireplace was big and beautiful. It had everything we needed and wanted.
