Description

Experience the allure of Bear Mountain Retreat, tailored to accommodate all. Nestled in the sought-after lower Moonridge area of Big Bear, this charming cabin offers quick access to the ski shuttle, promising a memorable mountain escapade.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1000+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, two charming wood-burning stove fireplaces, and plenty of comfortable living room seating. 

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath. First bedroom has a king bed. Second bedroom has a double bed. Den has a futon. Extra blankets and pillows are available. 

KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - Entertain yourself in the family room, equipped with an arcade game and darts with a scoreboard. Enjoy a range of entertainment options with cable TVs, Netflix, and Disney+, all complemented by fast WiFi. Unwind by the cozy wood-burning fireplace or engage in friendly competition with board games and card games.

OUTDOORS - Deck with charcoal barbecue. Walking distance to ski shuttle and just minutes to the lake, golf course, and more! 

PARKING - 2 car driveway

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 5 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)  
Check in after 4 pm

Front desk reception was very friendly. Was greeted right away and was in and out quickly. The cabin itself was very cute. Clean, had a nice supply of everything. My only complaint is that the headboard on the king bed was loose and creeked. I would definitely stay there again.

The place was in a great location. Very close into town and only 4 minutes from the Snow Summit. The 2 family room spaces were great and the 2 bedrooms upstairs were good size rooms. They provided more than enough blankets. Cable tv on both living spaces. More than likely we will be using them again. Family had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin. It’s like our Home away From Home. The facilities are excellent. Flat screen TV’s are awesome and having wifi was an added bonus. We will return and highly recommend this cabin

Our 3 nights at Bear Mountain Retreat was very relaxing and enjoyable. Check in was so easy, we were given directions and headed off to the cabin. The cabin was much larger than we needed - we were only two adults and our dog. Two nice size bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen with everything we needed - we actually cooked ALL our meals at the cabin, there is a living room with cable TV and wireless internet that worked great, and central heating Small dining table for 4 people. There is a downstairs area we didn't even use with a tv, chair, futon, poker table and washer/dryer. The door there leads to the small backyard area. My only complaint with this cabin is the yard is not fully fenced in - it is partially fenced, but with our dog we had to go out with her each time. I do like that is was pet friendly but would not bring the dog back here. I would however stay again in this cabin... Close to town, shopping and lake

Such a beautiful, cozy cabin! Our arrival at cool cabins was nothing short of special. The girls were so sweet and answered all questions. The home was very well kept and we woke up to the best views. Great choice for a cabin rental and we will definitely be using them again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the complete experience from the booking to the entering the property. The home was very nice and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. It had a "homey" feel upon entering and during my stay I was able to enjoy the beauty of Big Bear as well as the comfort of home. The location of the property is ideal, due to the closeness to shopping and entertainment areas.
