Hakuna Matata Lakefront is perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear steps to the lake and just a short drive to the slopes, Village, and more! Modern aesthetics meet mountain charm in this gorgeous two-story home with central heating.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 3500+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, dining table, bar seating, beautiful wood burning fireplaces, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 4 bedroom, 3 bath. Upstairs master bedroom has a king bed, TV, DVD player, bath, and deck. Upstairs second bedroom has a king bed and TV. Downstairs third bedroom has a king bed, TV, and bath. Upstairs fourth bedroom has two sets of twin/double bunk beds, TV, and bath. Game room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available. 

KITCHEN - Six burner stove, double oven, double door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, hot cocoa maker, popcorn maker, crockpot, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more. 

AMENITIES - Game room with ping pong table, shuffleboard, and pool table!  Board games and card games. TVs with Direct TV, NFL Sunday Ticket, and fast WiFi. Relax near the many cozy wood burning fireplaces. Laundry room with side-by-side washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Full badminton court. Gas barbecue, patio furniture, and picnic tables. Enjoy the large backyard and back deck! Stairs directly to the lake and a small launching ramp for water activities. This home also includes a boat dock on the lake that guests are more than welcome to enjoy!

PARKING - 4 car driveway

The lake levels vary throughout the year and cannot be guaranteed at the time of your stay.

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 14 people (10 adults max). Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
No pets allowed
Check in after 4 pm
Check out before 11 am (before 10 am 11/20 - 2/28)

"Big Bear Cool Cabins is GREAT"

We have booked through Big Bear Cool Cabins many times & so far, we have never had any issues. We loved this recent cabin we stayed at, it was called Hakuna Matata. It was one of the cleanest cabins we had ever stayed at which made our stay really pleasant. Location was AMAZING! Lakefront and super close to The Village, 7-11 :) Denny's, Domino's Pizza, Shops and Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain. We had an AMAZING time at this spacious, clean and cozy cabin. Thank you Big Bear Cool Cabins. We will definitely book through you guys again.

"Great Family Home "

We enjoyed the experience and the house had everything we needed. It is spacious and fun! It has plenty of kitchen ware. One of our favorite parts was the gas grill. The gas grill is hooked up to the gas line so need to worry about charcoal or running out of gas. We will definitely return to this home in the future.

Unlike AirBnb or other rental companies, with Cool Cabins we pick up the phone and ask questions, request items, late check outs, fireplace needs to be turned on, etc. The staff is friendly and always courteous.

Family trip to Big Bear was perfect with this home. Had plenty of room for our large family to hang out and felt very comfy. The views of the lake are ridiculous. Huge patio for our whole family to hangout and just a couple steps from the lake. Overall great stay. Thanks for letting us stay in this home.
