Description

PRIVATE CABIN WITH FOREST/MOUNTAIN VIEWS!

Sierra style cabin located on a quiet road in Fawnskin. Located just a short distance from the lake. Hike in the National Forest or take a short drive into town and enjoy restaurants, hiking, the Village, zoo, and more. Enjoy the rustic, charming decor, and secluded mountain cabin feeling.

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 600+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating. 

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. First bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom has a trundle bed and bunk bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Granite countertops, Wedgewood stove with griddle and oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - Cable TV, along with fast Wi-Fi. Board games and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace.

OUTDOORS - Patio furniture and gas barbecue. Enjoy the spacious fenced yard that backs up to the National Forest!

PARKING - 2-car driveway

Other things to note:
Per county requirements, we are permitted a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no refund.
No pets allowed

Great spot for a weekend get away on the quieter side of the lake. Easy access to food, lake, hiking when needed but more relaxed and quiet. Cool little cabin with working fireplace for chilly nights. Kitchen is equipped for eating meals in.

This cabin is located in a very quiet area which was exactly what I was looking for! It's cozy for staying in and the best part is you have the forest in the backyard if you like to take nature hikes. Very clean and comfortable, hope to visit again!

Really enjoyed stay at owl cabin. It is located in a nice quiet area. Property had good kitchenware, had clean sheets etc. There were DVD(s) kept but no DVD player, also families going with kids could use some games. Cabin itself is really nice.

This cute cabin is wonderful, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in a serene, comfortable, and clean environment. It’s located on a woodsy, quiet cul-de-sac in a tranquil setting of Fawnskin and the National Forest. Had my best night sleep in years here. We will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

5 stars! I had such a wonderful stay! The cabin was very cozy, and the kitchen was sunny and decorated beautifully. It was clean and had everything I needed. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, I slept like a baby. The deck was a real plus, with a lovely view of the open forest with tall majestic trees, a great place to sit and relax. So convenient to hike from the back door! I am definitely looking forward to my next stay!

The cabin was cute and cozy and off the beaten path. We enjoyed our stay very much, nice and clean. If I had to say something negative it would be maybe some new furniture in the living room what's there is a bit overused and maybe a little loving care Outdoors with a big table on that patio so you can actually eat out there. Overall it was fantastic, would come again. Thank you so much

This is a cute little cabin with a few quirks. It's nice and clean, and the kitchen is upgraded and very cute. The neighborhood is cute, with neighbors are close but quiet. Cable, fireplace - all worked well. On the cons, there is one couch and no soft chair, so two people can't really stretch out. And the couch is not great - very flat cushions making it not super cozy. Also, the hot water heater doesn't have a ton of capacity. Fine for two people, would be tougher with a larger group.

The entire cabin was clean and exceeded all expectations! I would definitely recommend to a friend and will be booking another cabin with Big Bear Cool Cabins in the future.

Amazing experience. It was just you, your family and the nature. It was private no weird neighbors too close, and the back doors open directly facing the forest. I loved it. My mom really like it and wants to come back in this specific cabin for our next big bear trip. It was clean, strong WiFi, 3mi or 10 minutes to staters bros and other markets. Less than a mile from the lake.

We had a wonderful time here! Beautiful little cabin in a peaceful, serene location and just a short drive to some of the best spots in Big Bear. Perfect for a couples vacation or a weekend getaway. Can't recommend it enough! We hope to be back soon!
