Description

An ideal location for families and groups that want to stay very close to the resort! This top level duplex unit will provide all the necessities within a pleasantly rustic cabin decor. 

LIVING SPACE - This upstairs unit offers a comfortable 1100+ sq ft floor plan with a living room, dining table, bar seating, brick faced wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - Two bedroom (one is a loft), one bath. Master bedroom has a king bed, bath with garden tub, and deck access. Loft has a double bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stoves with oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices and more. 

AMENITIES - Board games and card games. Cable TV and fast WiFi. Relax in the huge tub in the master or cozy up with a book near the cozy wood burning fireplace after walking back from the slopes. Washer/dryer available.

OUTDOORS - Deck and patio furniture, and a barbecue to meet all your grilling needs.

PARKING - 2 car driveway

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 6 people.
Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)
Check in after 4 pm

"everything was perfect "

Cabin was nice, clean, but you could hear everything from the downstairs unit. Check in was efficient, check out was even easier. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Loft bedroom was perfect for my teenage son, however there was only 1 Tv in the cabin. Large downstairs bedroom had its own bath with large tub. Kitchen had all the essentials needed. 5 min walk to summit was perfect & unit had washer/dryer !! Already booked this cabin for more stays.

I am so totally impressed with this company, check in was easy and keys were ready for us at the property. Instructions were clear and everything that you might even not think to ask was covered. There was a minor delay in getting the cable television to get a signal, they sent someone out incredibly quickly who was knowledgeable and was able to get it online in just a few minutes. And then he stayed just to put some salt down so the stairs would not be as slippery from the snow that had started falling, we never even had to ask. Check out was equally effortless, huge welcoming staff... made us feel so very welcome- thank you.

We stayed at summit escape upstairs on Christmas weekend Loved it! Great stay. Easy booking. Pet friendly. The place was as described! Wish we could stay longer. We definitely will be back again. Thanks again big bear cool cabins!

"Just Gorgeous, super spacious"

Loved the location and really appreciate the other reviews as we could not have been more pleased with our stay. We were here the weekend and arrived just ahead of the snow- what incredible pictures we got and everything we could have hoped for. There were also a couple snow shovels which came in handy the next morning as the snow plows had been through during the early hours and there was just a small bit to clear out of the driveway. We only had to contact the local company CoolCabins once when the cable was not connecting, did not expect someone to be out there so Quick, in maybe 15 minutes, he was completely knowledgeable and it only took him a couple minutes to get the system online. AND without our even thinking to ask, he spread salt on the stairs in anticipation of the snowfall that was just starting. We met some of their staff at checkin and there could not have had a more welcoming reception. Plus they connected with us ahead of time with a lot of helpful information. Would absolutely Love to stay here again. Great location. If you are here during the winter do pick up some firewood and enjoy the fireplace, made it so cozy. A bit of a walk to the village but really great location. There is a handy 7-11 down at the corner and a Vons just a few minutes away.
