This cozy cabin is walking distance to the Bear Mountain Resort, Big Bear Alpine Zoo, Bear Mountain Golf Course, and the National Forest. Recently remodeled, new appliances, counter tops, windows, flooring, furnishings, beds, and bedding will make your stay in Big Bear comfortable and serene.

NEWLY REMODELED GAME ROOM IN DETACHED GARAGE! Watch your favorite sports or movies on a 65" high-def Smart TV, play air hockey, ping pong, darts, or with 60+ games and puzzles. Mini-fridge and mini-micro for snacks on movie or game night.

LIVING SPACE - Expansive great room with wood ceilings unites guests in the combined kitchen, dining, and living room. 

ROOMS & BEDS - FOREST ROOM features rustic vaulted ceilings over a new king bed with high-quality linens, a full closet with farmhouse doors, and forest views out of both windows. LAKE ROOM offers rustic vaulted ceilings over a new queen bed with high-quality linens and two dimmable bedside lamps with USB charge stations. Additional sleeping is also available in a new sectional sofa with a fold-out queen. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Updated appliances, bar stool island, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Large screen TV with Roku accesses your favorite streaming apps. Workstation with reliable internet for work-from-home folks or virtual-school students. Laundry room with side by side washer/dryer. 

OUTDOORS - An outdoor deck overlooks your own private tree-lined backyard. Solar-powered sidewalk lighting, patio furniture, and a Weber barbecue. Private forest views from every window. FUN – For skiers and snowboarders: walk, ski, or shuttle to Bear Mountain (4 minutes away) and a 9-minute ride to Snow Summit. For water lovers: Paddle boarding, pontoon boating, water skiing, inner tubing, jet skiing from six marinas along Big Bear Lake’s 23 miles of shoreline. For Hikers: The National Forest is a half-mile walk from the front door and offers a beautiful lake view just another half-mile in. An extensive network of forestry trails is easily accessible from the Snow Summit and Bear Mountain base areas. Check out the all-new Bobsled Trail for an enjoyable 2-mile top-to-bottom trek with great views of SoCal’s tallest mountain, Mt. San Gorgonio (elevation 11,500 feet). For Mountain Bikers: Southern California’s premier lift-served bike park and access to over 60 miles of trails offer great rides for all skill levels. Our mountain’s unique tacky dirt provides great traction under knobby tires for safe, fun adventures. For Nature Lovers: Resident squirrels, chipmunks, and birds provide hours of entertainment. Feeders and food are included.

Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 6 people.
Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.

We stayed here for a ski weekend with the family. The place has a nice little property and cabin in the woods feel. Short drive to Big Bear that could be walked but maybe a little much for the kids. The kids loved the backyard for an afternoon playing in the snow. Interior is tastefully finished, furnished, and all appliances/supplies worked well for us. Super nice touch with the stocked coffee bar, quality linens and extra space heaters. We’d rent here again. Thanks

Hands down one of the nicest rentals we have ever experienced!! When you are limited to "Dog Friendly" properties, you normally have to concede some on cleanliness and esthetics... NOT HERE! Cabin is located in a beautiful neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac. Only sounds we heard were birds the entire stay. Easy, flat access. Cabin was immaculately clean!! Every detail taken care of. Cozy and comfortable. Loved the large open living room kitchen area. The Keurig coffee maker was a pleasant surprise. The fireplace was wonderful and plenty of firewood provided. We enjoyed the backyard area, plenty of room for our two dogs to play.. No fence, but the natural barriers of the lot were good enough for us. We will definitely be back!! I honestly can't recommend this beautiful home enough!! It's EXACTLY what we were hoping for and more!

I come every summer and rent from Cool Cabins and this was my favorite cabin. Very clean, had everything you need in the kitchen. They even supplied food to feed all the squirrels and chipmunks in the backyard. Will definitely rent this cabin next year!

Im very particular with places I stay and have pretty high standards as far as cleanliness. That being said this was probably the cleanest most well put together rental I have ever stayed in. Fully equipped in the kitchen and bathroom with everything you would ever need and went above and beyond for the little things. Beautiful quiet backyard with a deck and grill, only a 10 min drive from the village and the lake…you cant ask for a better place to stay. We had and incredible trip and will be booking again in the future!

"Great time staying at this cabin "

My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. We even got to bring our dog with us with our kids loved! Its always hard to find cabins that accept pets but are still very clean and this one definitely was. It was also very well stocked with all we needed for our trip including lots of board games and what seemed like all new kitchenware. My husband and I love to cook so we appreciated all the nice pots and pans and other utensils. The cabin has an open floor plan which from the kitchen to the family room with nice high ceilings! It felt much bigger than it actually was, which is nice with a family. The beds were very comfy and we liked that they had fans in each room. Our whole family sleeps with a fan for white noise so we always travel with a couple but nice to know that we wont have to bring one next time. And having extension cords with lots of outlets next to the beds was great too! Perfect for our kids and all their gaming electronics. The backyard is great too! Not super large and not fenced in but big enough for our dog to run around in and he doesn't run off so the no fence wasn't a big deal for us. My kids also enjoyed the basketball hoop in the front. And having a washer/dryer was great! I barely had to do any laundry when we got home since I was able to do it all before we left the cabin. The neighborhood was really pretty too! We took several walks while we were there and loved seeing all the cool cabins in the area. And its super close to lots of activities. The zoo is just down the road, which we enjoyed and the tubing/Alpine slide is fairly close too! Thanks for our stay! We'll definitely be back!

"A great find!"

For our getaway weekend, we had the pleasure to stay that this wonderfully nice house in Big Bear Lake. The house had everything we needed to make our stay easy, enjoyable and comfortable, including nice sized bedrooms, upgraded sheets and towels, new appliances in the kitchen with everything you need to prepare great meals or make our favorite beverages. The “mud” room off the entry has plenty of room for sports gear and apparel, plus a clothes washer and dryer. There are large panoramic windows in the gathering room which gave us views of the surrounding woods, the vaulted ceilings provide a sense of openness, a cast-iron wood burning fireplace kept the room warm, and high-speed Internet for connectivity and a streaming TV for entertainment. There is a large deck in the backyard with a gas BBQ, and plenty of tall pine, birch, and other variety of shade trees throughout. The house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and it’s only a quick walk to both the ski lifts as well as a golf course. We had a great experience and will definitely be back again.

"Awesome place for a getaway! "

The cabin was exactly as described, with all the amenities, a private yard, and convenient location. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds, quality linens, nice pillows, and even down comforters! The kitchen was well stocked to cook and serve all our meals. I especially liked the island/table bar stools to congregate around during meal prep. The open living room was light and bright, with nice furniture, lots of seating, and a wood burning fireplace. The owners take great care of their place which makes everything so cozy and comfortable. We plan to return soon.

A+ experience all around. From customer service, sales, front desk/check in and out was a breeze. Staff was super friendly and available24/7 phone, text and email.Everything need to know is pretty much written out for you. All you have to do is read and follow directions. Now the cabin... was perfect. Clean. Neat. Updated. Very welcoming and cozy. 3 nights was definitely not enough. Our next Big Bear trip we will definitely go through Big Bear Cool Cabins.. Thanks for a memorable trip.
