Cute home & close to local faves
Reviewed on 2024-03-11 by LindseyApples Delight was a nice spot with a large yard for the kids to roam and play. It lacked a bit on kitchen essentials. The power did go out during our stay (in Big Bear area as a whole) and it would have been nice to have a lighter in the house to light the stove. Also, we tried to find a dustpan or broom to clean up crumbs and we couldn't find one, so pick up with a napkin was a bit annoying. Other than that, great find!

Reviewed on 2023-12-22 by JeffreyJust about the cleanest rental ever. Convenient in the big bear community. Neighborhood seems quiet. Easy to get to. Good parking spaces. It has all the amenities one needs. Would give it 5 stars, but the beds are not queens but doubles. The heater, downstairs, is effective but noisy enough you have to turn the TV volume to max to hear it when the heater is running. In winter it takes awhile before the upstairs warms up in the beginning, but fine after that. The place was comfortable and met the needs of four adults just fine. I would rent here again if I was okay with double beds.

Apples Delight is a gorgeous little home on Gilner Point in Big Bear Lake. This quaint property sits in a desirable location close to The Lake and The Village, ideal for a couple's getaway. Cabin decor and clean relaxing interiors invite you to step away to the mountains and relax.
LIVING SPACE - Comfortable 800+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, dining table, and a wood burning stove fireplace. Cuddle up on the sectional with plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Upstairs first bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Upstairs second bedroom has a queen bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Natural wood cabinetry, stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
AMENITIES - Smart TVs with cable and streaming apps, fast Wi-Fi, board games, and card games. Laundry area with side-by-side washer/dryer.
OUTDOORS - Take in the fresh air on the partially covered deck while the kids play in the fenced yard.
PARKING - 2 car driveway
Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 4 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
