Reviewed on 2024-02-19 by JoseWe recently had the pleasure to stay at Bear Cave. Check-in was seamless and the cabin was charming and inviting. This place is situated conveniently close to Bear mountain and Summit as well as stores & restaurants. My family loved it! If your are looking for a cozy, clean, with several amenities this is it.

Bear Cave is one of a kind. Conveniently located in Central Moonridge. Walking distance to the New Alpine Zoo, ski shuttle to both ski resorts, and a short drive to the lake. Close to National Forest hiking trails. Mountain charm fills this cozy single-story home with forest views and heating!
LIVING SPACE - Spacious 800+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, a beautiful rock wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a queen bed and smart TV. Second bedroom has twin/twin bunk beds and smart TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Full kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
AMENITIES - Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card gams. Relax by the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer.
OUTDOORS - Large back deck with a hot tub and charcoal barbecue.
PARKING - 2 car driveway
Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 4 people.
Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)
