The only things I'd bring up is the chandelier placements: the one over the dining room table was pretty low and we found our selves hitting our heads quite often as well as the one over the smaller couch in the living room. There was a pretty large, flat box that was a bit intrusive downstairs against the staircase. We could tell the house was undergoing some renovations but look forward to seeing it again! The neighborhood was quiet (though construction workers on the house next door arrived rather early) and very close to everything we wanted to do! Overall, this was a wonderful trip and we look forward to booking another experience with Cool Cabins!

Reviewed on 2024-01-02 by TheresaCabin was clean. Location was great. Everyone loved the arcade game. The deck and fenced-in yard was nice. There was a lack of supplies like dish soap, trash bags, paper towels and bath towels. Also, it would've been nice to have TV's in the bedrooms. Overall it was a nice stay.

Welcome to Bigfoot's Hideout, a stunning two-story home located in the desired Fox Farm area of Big Bear. This immaculate mountain home boasts warmth, character, and mountain views that will leave you speechless. With plenty of trees and natural landscaping on a large lot, Bigfoot's Hideout provides a peaceful retreat for your Big Bear vacation.
LIVING SPACE - With over 1600 sq ft of living space and a spacious open floor plan living area with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and picture windows allowing for plenty of natural light. Enjoy a wood-burning stove fireplace and comfortable seating throughout the living space.
ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Upstairs master suite has a king bed and private bath. Downstairs second bedroom has a queen bed. Downstairs third bedroom has two twin/twin bunk beds.
KITCHEN - Kitchen with all the amenities you need to prepare your favorite meals. Stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more. The dining area features a dining table with overhead lighting.
AMENITIES -Smart TVs and streaming apps along with fast Wi-Fi and board games for entertainment. Laundry room with side-by-side washer/dryer.
OUTDOORS - Three outdoor decks with patio furniture, a gas BBQ, and ski slope views. Take in the stunning views of the mountain and trees surrounding the property while you relax on one of the decks.

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 8 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)
