Awesome but still lacking
Reviewed on 2024-03-11 by WilliamThe staff was phenomenal and the cabin's location was great. The only issues that we experienced were more of the "creature comfort" variety. There was no washer or dryer, which is a bit problematic after a day (or multiples) on the slopes and in the snow. There was also no dishwasher, which assigned time doing chores after every meal. There was also no designated Master Bathroom attached to any of the bedrooms. Also, not a huge deal if you are with a smaller party but it was a little inconvenient even with a party of four. All-in-all, we had a great time and would highly recommend using Big Bear Cool Cabins for your Big Bear getaway.

Boulder Bay Park Lakeside is perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear across the street from the lake and just a short drive to the village, slopes, and more! This beautifully decorated home comes equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway!
LIVING SPACE - Spacious 2000 sq ft home with living room, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Upstairs master bedroom has a king bed and bath. Downstairs second bedroom has a queen bed, sitting area, TV, and deck to the hot tub. Upstairs third bedroom has two queen beds and TV. Upstairs loft has a queen bed and TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, stove, oven, refrigerator, purified water on tap, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
AMENITIES - Board games and card games. Cable TVs along with fast WiFi. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace.
OUTDOORS - Hot tub, gas barbecue, and outdoor furniture. Balcony overlooking Boulder Bay and gated front deck. Short walk to shoreline.
PARKING - 3 car driveway
The lake levels vary throughout the year and cannot be guaranteed at the time of your stay.
Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 7 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)
