Cozy but could use more attention to details

Things we loved: good hot water and shower, washer and dryer, good size kitchen, furniture was fairly updated, TV in every room. A few things may have made our trip a little better. The bathroom sink was clogged upstairs. The previous guests must've not reported it. No extra trash bags for kitchen was left for us. The game table was broken and many of the board games were not complete. This is the second time we've rented through Cool Cabins. This time, we were not as pleased about the customer service. We booked our cabin months in advance just to have it cancelled only a few weeks before our trip and the options we were offered did not compare to the property we initially chose. It only compared in price so we ended up paying close to $1,000 more for comparable options/location. On the day we checked in, we were told that we would receive a text with the access code but only received the text AFTER we called to follow up past the check in time. We were just waiting and waiting when the cabin was already ready. Not the greatest way to start our vacation. With the minor kinks worked out, we'd definitely stay here again.

Dream Street Escape is a charming 4 bedroom 2 bath home that is just minutes from the lake, village, and ski slopes and sits on a secluded lot with a peaceful treed setting. Large updated kitchen features new appliances, backsplash, and lighting. Spacious attached dining area that opens to the living room with a large rock wood burning fireplace. Modern aesthetics meet mountain charm in this gorgeous two-story home!
LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1040+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fan, dining table, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 4 bedroom, 2 bath. Downstairs first bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Upstairs second bedroom has a twin/twin bunk bed and TV. Upstairs third bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Fourth bedroom has a twin bed, futon, foosball table, and TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
AMENITIES - Foosball table and super Nintendo. Board games include Cards Against Humanity Family Edition, Chutes and Ladders, and more. Smart TVs and streaming apps along with fast WiFi. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with washer/dryer available.
OUTDOORS - The fenced outdoor space offers a redwood deck with a hot tub and gas grill and table.
PARKING - 3 car driveway
Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 5 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
