Knotty Knight is a very nice cabin. Cabin was clean when we arrived. This cabin does not allow pets, which was a plus for us. No cable or WIFI was nice. We watched a movie and played games as a family. Its walking distance to the village and the water. Everything was as described and my family loved the relaxing atmosphere. Perfect size for four people. Cool Cabins had an easy check in/check out system. The coffee pot was not working. We called Cool Cabins and a new one was delivered quickly. Great customer service! Thank You!

My experience was great, the place was very nice and cozy. The decor in the cabin was really nice. However I would have preferred WiFi and a dishwasher, other than that, it was great

EVERYTHING! It was close to EVERYTHING! Walking distance to the lake, the Village, Starbucks!!, and places to eat. The couch was so comfortable we slept on it. Tons of counter space for cooking, in fact, we cooked all our meals! Great DVD selection and games. Tons of blankets and a beautiful bathroom! Huge porch with 4 chairs and a little table provided. We had a blast!

We were very pleased with our stay at Knotty Knight. The location of the cabin is great, only five minutes away from the lake & fifteen minutes away from the Big Bear Village by walking and 10 minutes away from the Summit driving. Our favorite spot was the comfy living room sofas, in front of the gorgeous fireplace. The fully functioning cassette player and the music selection was a very pleasant surprise, it was probably the first time we listened to a cassette after 15 years and it made our night. Check-in and check-out was a breeze with the lock box. Overall we would definitely want to come back to Knotty Knight next time we are in Big Bear.

We loved the living room with the beautiful fireplace and comfy couches and the updated kitchen and bathroom. The fireplace and games were great for us to disconnect from our busy lives and watch some old school DVDs with our son. The only downside were the beds (not very comfortable or cozy) and the cheap linens. If the beds were up to the same caliber as the rest of the unit, we would definitely be back. Unfortunately, if none us sleep well though, it makes for a somewhat grouchy getaway. Super cute cabin though for a small family of 4 to enjoy!

Great little cabin very close to the lake and shopping. We really enjoyed this cabin, one end of the street is restaurants and the other end is a park and the lake. It has a very large yard so it was great to let the kids play in the snow. My only complaint is they need a few more cooking items like a cookie sheet. Other than that the movie collection is good and they have great games.

The entire cabin is small but it was perfect for our family since it kept us together at all times. The kitchen and table are a good size and they had lots of dishes, pans, cups, mugs and seasoning available. They didn't have a toaster and when I called to ask they delivered one to me brand new. No cable or WiFi available (the only down side of this cabin) but it kept us entertained by having to watch movies the entire time we were there (lots of dvd's available and board games). My favorite part of this cabin was the amazing fireplace, love it and had it on the entire time we were there. Couches are a little worn out and TV is old (hopefully they get replaced soon) but that didn't change anything for me. Would definitely stay in this cabin again.
