Reviewed on 2024-02-18 by TylerReservation process is the most detailed and thorough I've ever been through. I didn't mind spending more time doing all this because it seems like this is a really buttoned up company. Someone was always available over the phone when I needed help. The unit has an amazing view, of course. Not too far from the center of town. Shower had great water pressure. Beds were comfortable enough. Plenty of seating. I would definitely recommend staying here for a vacation. Unit is older like most everything in big bear. But it's in decent shape. Heater works well. The only warning I would give people is, the driveway is pretty steep and longish. Depending on what car or truck you drive, it can be hard to get out early in the morning due to the ice that accumulates. The ice seemed the worst at the bottom. I think I would advise parking near the top of the driveway if you plan on leaving early in the morning. But all in all, great stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Lakefront Retreat is perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear just a short drive to the Village, slopes, and more. This spacious three bedroom comes equipped with everything you need for a memorable mountain getaway!
LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1350+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.
ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a king bed. Second bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Third bedroom has two twin beds and TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.
KITCHEN - Stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.
AMENITIES - Board games and card games. Satellite TVs along with fast WiFi. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with stack-able washer/dryer available.
OUTDOORS - Back deck facing lake with picnic table and barbecue.
PARKING - 3 car driveway, Caution, steep driveway (will require chains in winter)
The lake levels vary throughout the year and cannot be guaranteed at the time of your stay.
Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 7 people. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
