Great Weekend Getaway

Overall

The Sherwood Cottage was perfect for our holiday weekend getaway. If it weren't for the skiing, we would have had no need to leave the space. From the hot tub to the games to the nicely stocked kitchen, it was perfect for us. The only suggestion would be to get a knife sharpener, as they were all quite dull and difficult to use.

"Very simple process. "

Easy getting in and easy check out. Very responsive. We had our pup with us and even while being silent or sleeping early in the morning, the next door neighbors dog barked alot. We love dogs so it wasn’t a major problem. Hot tub was very nice! Also short drive to village was nice for breakfast and dinner.

Such a perfect stay! I was not expecting the kitchen to be so stocked and also so clean. Hot tub was amazing, and cabin was so cozy and in a great area. I will definitely come back!

"Perfect getaway "

Great cottage with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Plenty of room for 5 of us (1 on couch). We came during ski season and realize big bear has so much to offer during all seasons. Coming back this summer with my mountain bike. We Will definitely stay at this wonderful cottage again. Can’t wait!

"Great Cabin to Get Away with the Family!"

My family and I stayed at this cabin recently and had a great vacation! The house is so cute and cozy. We loved the high ceilings and fireplace in the great room/kitchen. The kitchen had everything you need to make a nice meal for the family if you're so inclined and a cute coffee station. House worked great for our family of 5, and the beds were comfortable, which is essential to me. We also loved the spa and firepit area in the backyard after a day on the slopes. The town is great to explore, great shopping, and ambiance with tons of dining. The cabin is located in a great spot with easy access and a flat driveway, which is great when snowing. Would definitely book again.

COZY HOT TUB CABIN!

Lovely cottage in Big Bear City with great amenities. Nearby Snow Play, the Convention Center, and delicious local restaurants. Just a short drive to the lake, The Village, slopes, golf course, and more! Spacious and comfy enough for hosting families and friends for any occasion!

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 600+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful gas fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. The first bedroom has a queen bed and TV. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, popcorn maker, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices and more.

AMENITIES - Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast Wi-Fi. Board games and card games. Relax near the cozy gas fireplace. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Hot tub, patio furniture, gas barbecue, and gas fire pit. Enjoy the spacious back deck with a fenced yard and the front deck with string lights.

PARKING - 2 car driveway

Other things to note:
Per county requirements, we are permitted a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined from the city and evicted with no refund.
Pet fee $30 per pet per night (dogs only)
