The Hideaway is an enchanting custom log-style home located high in the pines on nearly half an acre in one of Big Bear's prime locations, Fox Farm. The cabin is nestled in a quiet area, set back and above the street level offering a feeling of privacy and seclusion and tree top views, and within a few blocks of both the Bear Mountain Ski Resort shuttle, and Snow Summit Ski Resort shuttle. Only minutes away from the village, lake, marinas, and both ski resorts. Close to National Forest hiking trails. 

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 2,100+ sq ft home with great room featuring impressive, vaulted ceilings with recessed lighting, plenty of comfortable seating, and a majestic river rock fireplace. Entertainers will enjoy the wet bar and multiple dining areas.  

ROOMS & BEDS - Split loft with 2 bedrooms, loft, 1.5 bath. Upstairs first bedroom has a queen bed, fireplace, and balcony. Upstairs second bedroom has a queen bed. Loft area has a king bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stainless steel appliances, stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more. 

AMENITIES - Smart TVs, Chromecast with fast WiFi, board games, card games. Stay warm and relaxed by the cozy fireplaces. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer. 

OUTDOORS - NEW private hot tub! Spacious back deck includes a patio table, gas barbecue, hammock, and forest views.

PARKING - 3 car driveway

Other things to note:
Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 6 people.
Children, toddlers, and infants do count as a person. Occupancy is permitted per City Ordinance - overoccupancy could result in a fine or non-refundable eviction.
Pet fee $30 per night (small dogs only-under 20 lbs)
Check in after 4 pm
Check out before 11 am (before 10 am 11/20 - 2/28)

"Peaceful and Quiet"

If you are looking for a perfect place to get away in nature, this is your spot. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. It's a short drive to anywhere in Big Bear, and walking distance to dining and shopping. The interior is rustic with all the modern amenities. There are plenty of games to keep the family busy in the evening. The neighborhood is spread out and very quiet. Sitting out on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee listening to the birds was the best way to start the day.
